Event starts at 9:00am. You will be expected to be warmed up and ready to compete at this time. If you are not warmed up, the event will start anyway. Events may not be run in this order for your weight class, so please pay attention to announcements throughout the day to know where you should be.

Event 1:
Yoke Walk and Wheelbarrow -
- The yoke must be completed before you can start the barrow course. The entire yoke must be over the line before you can start on the barrow.
- The event distance is 25 metres up for the yoke and then 25 metres back for the barrow. Event will be head to head but may not be against your own weight class.
- Barrow starts with tyre on the start line. Timing stops when the wheel touches the finish line.
- Maximum allowable time is 60 seconds
- Distance covered to be recorded or fastest time (will also be split between implements). Fastest time wins, followed by longest distance.
- If you slide the yoke or barrow, you will be given a 2 second penalty for every slide over 50 centimetres the implements travel. If you slide twice, then you will be given two penalties. Simple terms: do not push the yoke or barrow along the ground.
- You must cross the start line completely with the yoke to be given a score for this event. Failing to do so will result in a zero score.

Event 2:
Overhead Medley - Axle, Log, Axle, Dumbbell
- Competitor has 60 seconds from the event start to attempt to successfully lift all implements.
- Implements are to be completed in order
- Womens log is 10 inch
- Mens log is 12 inch
- Belt cleans are allowed for the axle, however belt must be worn in the natural position.
- Dumbbell can be cleaned with two hands. From the shoulder, the dumbbell must be pressed to lockout with one hand and arm only. The second hand can only become involved after the competitor has received a "good lift" command so they may control the dumbbell to the ground again.
- A successful lift will be called by the judge once the implement is stable and locked out overhead with elbow/s locked out. You can move to the next implement after a successful lift is called by the judge. If you do not receive the down call, then you will have to repeat that implement.
- If you drop an implement uncontrolled from overhead on the day you will be made to repeat the lift.
- Event will be won by the fastest time to successfully receive a down call on each implement, with each successive implement being responsible for your final time and scored the highest.
- You must successfully lift the first implement to be given a score for this event.

Event 3:
Timber Load and Carry
Women loading to 1 metre
Men loading to 1.2 metres
- 3 pieces of timber of varying weights to be loaded onto the platform.
- The competitor must load the timber pieces in the order noted
- timber piece is not to be rolled towards the platform, it must be picked up and carried, if you drop a piece and it rolls, this is accepted. Do not aid the timber in its rolling after dropping it or you will be made to return it to its original starting point to begin again.
- you will have 60 seconds to complete the loading race
- Event will be won by the fastest time to successfully load each implement in order, with each successive implement being responsible for your final time and scored the highest. Competitors hands must be off the implement to have your time recorded.
- You must successfully load the first implement to be given a score for this event.

At approximately Midday there will be a break for the loaders and helpers to have their lunch.

Event 4:
Natural Stones
- No tacky or other grip-aiding substances to be used - the only allowable addition is chalk.
- Stones to be loaded in the order noted.
Women loading to 1 metre
Men loading to 1.2 metres
- Event will be won by the fastest time to successfully load each implement in order, with each successive implement being responsible for your final time and scored the highest. Competitors hands must be off the implement to have your time recorded.

Event 5:
Silver Dollar Deadlift Knockout:
- We will have two platforms going at once.
- Whenever a field gets to be 5 people or less, we will allow a 3 minute break in between weight increments.
- Weights are at set increments.
- Competitors are allowed to skip lifts.
- If the competitor misses a lift, their last successful attempt will be accepted. If they failed to make any lifts then no points will be given.
- Hitching is allowed, suits are allowed, straps are allowed.
- Any dropped lifts will be disallowed, even after a "good lift" is called. Another attempt to perform the lift, receive a down call and then control the implement to the ground is allowable within your time limit.
- The total time limit for the event is 60 seconds to receive a down call - lowering the implement is not required to be within this time period, however if you fail to control the implement to the ground you will be unable to attempt the lift again if the time has expired.
- If you fail to make a lift in the allotted time, you will be knocked out.
- Winner is the last man or woman standing.

Presentations will take place immediately after the events are completed and scores are totaled.

In the event of a tie on scores, there will be a tie breaking event. This will be announced closer to the event.

Don't forget your sunscreen and your water. We will be providing chalk for competitors.

See you all on Saturday for those weighing in or Sunday for competition day.
