Asia Pacific Strongman Championships 2016 – ASA Nats 2016

The Asia Pacific Strongman Championships 2016 - Singapore

Competitors from the Singapore Strongman Championships 2015

Run by our good friend Ahmad "Taufiq Strongman" Mohammed and a follow up from his very successful competition from last year. This will be one of the most "International" competitions you can be a part of with competitors confirmed from:
- Brunei
- Japan
- Hong Kong
- Singapore
- Malaysia
- Philippines
- and of course Australia!

Team Australia had a great year there last year, winning 4 out of the 5 divisions.

8 people will win themselves a place into the event, first place from each class. Winning a place into the event isn't the only thing you recieve as Ahmad is a champ and will also cover your transfers to and from a holiday lodging for the competition as well as your accommodation for three nights (14th to 17th October) while in Singapore!

Events on the day are outlined below, but are likely to change before the date as they are working on having more equipment made, just for the Asia Pacific Strongman Championships!

- Stones or kegs for reps
- Rising Yoke
- Last Man Standing Log
- Axle Deadlift for reps
- Forward hold

So if you win first place in your class at this years Australian Strongman Alliance Nationals by Tangalooma Island Resort, you go onto Singapore to compete in the Asia Pacific Strongman Championship. Your only cost will be for some meals, airport transfers and your flights. The accommodation, event transfers and event entry fees are all covered! Plus, Ahmad has confirmed cash prizes for those who win their division over there too!

Being as hopsitable as he is, Ahmad has also organised free Physio, Chiro and Massage on the day of the event for all competitors too.

Classes are:

Womens Under and over 62kgs (Women who win 72, 82 and open will go to the open womens class in Singapore)

Mens under 80, 90, Masters and Opens. (If you win the Under 105's, you go on to compete in the open mens class in Singapore).
